For nearly two decades, Ashaadibi has faced ongoing challenges with securing permanent premises, operating instead from multiple rented locations across Tower Hamlets.
Despite these challenges, Ashaadibi continues to support over 500 people each week. Its services—ranging from the Masjid and Madrasah to the Youth Hub and Community Centre—remain essential to the wellbeing of the community.
Ashaadibi envisions a permanent space where all services can flourish together under one roof. Such a home would strengthen existing programmes and create new opportunities for growth, connection, and impact.
More than a collection of services, Ashaadibi is a lifeline for many. The goal is to establish a unified, thriving hub that nurtures faith, education, and community spirit.
Support from the community can make this vision a reality. By contributing to the Ashaadibi’s Synagogue to Masjid Fundraiser 2026, donors are investing in a stronger future. Every contribution, regardless of size, brings Ashaadibi closer to securing a permanent home where it can continue to serve and thrive.
Together, a lasting legacy can be built for generations to come, inshaaʼAllah. May Allah reward all who support this effort. Ameen
“The most beloved people to Allah on the Day of Judgement … are those who spend wealth to build mosques and facilitate worship. ” (Muslim)
Ashaadibi continues to serve a growing and vibrant community, but our current facilities are stretched beyond its limits.
At present, the masjid operates across three separate rented buildings, each adapted to meet essential needs such as prayer, education, and community gatherings.
While this arrangement has allowed us to function, it was never designed to support the scale or diversity of activities our community now requires.
Limited space has led to overcrowded prayer areas, restricted classroom capacity, and logistical challenges: especially during Jumu’ah, Ramadan, and community events.
Families, youth, and elders all feel the strain of a space that is no longer fit for purpose. Despite these challenges, the community continues to persevere, united by faith and dedication.
However, to truly serve current and future generations, Ashaadibi needs a permanent, purpose-built home where worship, learning, and community life can come together under one roof.
We have found a suitable building to serve as our permanent home, but we will need to raise £3.5 million within 9 months – by September 2026.

Support our Masjid, Madrasah, Youth Hub, and Community Centre
By the grace of Allah, we are fundraising to purchase a building to serve as a Masjid, Youth Hub, Madrasah, and Community Centre-all in one place. Currently, we rent multiple locations, but with your support, we can establish a permanent space for worship learning, and community development.
Help providing a permanent place of worship for our local Muslim community
Establish an accessible youth hub to engage and empower the next generation
Expand our Madrasah to continue offering high quality Islamic education
Create a community space offering services, classes, and social programs.
